A Food Court Revitalized.

The perfect environment to flex our team's project management capabilities, the revitalization of Upper Canada Mall’s food court project involved coordinating 11 food tenant space upgrades, managing the replacement of 20,000 square feet of tile, and delivery and installation of 400+ pieces of new furniture - all while staying largely open for business.

The project took six months to plan and execute with the key challenge of ensuring that no greater than four food tenants were closed at any given time and that safety and cleanliness were ensured always. Fia Interiors was the Prime Consultant of the project, managing the contract administration on behalf of Oxford Properties.

“Fia Interiors managed a complicated open food court renovation better than I could have expected.

Erika and her team successfully managed the coordination of the contract scope with the principal contractor, coordinated the complicated phasing of the new food court floor tile, millwork, and furniture, and the food court tenant phased renovations.

With the partnership of Fia Interiors, this project was delivered
on schedule with as little impact to the day-to-day business of the property as possible.”

Matt Luciano, Operations Manager - Upper Canada Mall
